Water is the most important natural resource we have, its protection is our vocation.
Our mission is to provide top quality training, networking, and support to Water Renewal Operators in Southwest Idaho. We provide classes for CEUs at a very low cost to our members.

The Southwest Idaho Operator Section has opened nomination forms for the 2026 SWIOS Operator of the Year. Nominations are presented to the SWIOS Board for voting consideration and must be received by December 20th, 2026. Awards will be presented at the SWIOS Annual Sponsor and Member Appreciation Banquet held in January 2027.
Awards are available for Operator, Collection Operator, Lab Analyst, and Maintenance. The winners will be placed into consideration for the May 2027 Idaho Operator Conference against those professionals recognized by our partner organizations North Idaho Operator Section (NIOS) and Southeast Idaho Operator Section (SEIOS).
Our Training Schedule
We offer multiple trainings throughout the year. We also participate in a yearly conference sponsored by our sister organizations held in North, Southwest, or Eastern Idaho.
Ready for Membership
Beyond the strong networking of our community members are allowed to attend any SWIOS sponsored training for no additional cost than the membership.
